6. SEBI Social Media Rule: Show Name and Registration Number

  • SEBI's circular makes registered intermediaries disclose their registered name and SEBI registration number on securities-related social media content.
  • The disclosure must be on profiles and at the start of every securities-related post, video or advisory.
  • The rule covers open as well as closed and semi-closed platforms, such as YouTube, Instagram, X and Reddit.
  • Entities with several registrations must give a web link listing all of them and quote only the relevant number in a post.

8. Fino Payments Bank: Small Finance Bank Transition and SFB Rules

  • Fino Payments Bank holds RBI in-principle approval to become a Small Finance Bank and says the plan stays on schedule.
  • Its MD and CEO, Rishi Gupta, was arrested over alleged GST-related violations.
  • SFBs can lend; payments banks cannot. Minimum capital is ₹200 crore for SFBs and ₹100 crore for payments banks.

15. India-Canada Reset: Nuclear Pact, CEPA Push and Key Challenges

  • India and Canada signed a civil nuclear agreement and recommitted to concluding a CEPA after Modi-Carney talks.

16. India-EU FTA: Mutual MFN Status for Five Years
