  • Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal opened three inland waterway projects on National Waterway 2 (River Brahmaputra) at Dibrugarh, Assam.
  • Bogibeel Customs & Immigration Complex is a tourist-cum-cargo terminal bringing customs, immigration and IWAI work under one roof.
  • Dhubri Gateway CIC improves trade links with Bangladesh and Bhutan.

2. Kolli Hills Dark Sky Park: Tamil Nadu’s First Stargazing Site

  • Tamil Nadu's first Dark Sky Park opened inside Ariyur Shola Reserve Forest, Kolli Hills, in Namakkal district.
  • Forest Minister R S Rajakannappan inaugurated the park, which cost ₹1 crore to set up.
  • Visitors can use it only between 15 January and 15 June; it stays shut in the monsoon.
