Combined AUM of REITs and InvITs in India has crossed ₹9 lakh crore in just nine years.
SEBI introduced both REITs and InvITs in 2014 under separate 2014 regulations.
Both need a minimum public offer of ₹250 crore with 25% public float.
SM REITs, brought in March 2024, cover assets valued between ₹50 crore and ₹500 crore.
