Marking International Vulture Awareness Day on 2 September 2025, Assam saw the launch of a first-of-its-kind online hub to spread awareness and coordinate efforts to save threatened vultures.

- Portal name: The Vulture Network, a cloud-based knowledge hub.
- Led by We Foundation India, an Assam NGO, together with Gauhati University zoology department.
