The Education Ministry released India Rankings 2025, the yearly NIRF assessment of higher education institutions.
Key facts
- IIT Madras also topped the new SDG-based ranking.
- Hindu College was best college for the 2nd year; 6 of the top 10 are Delhi colleges.
- Now 9 categories, 8 subject domains; 7,692 institutions applied (14,163 submissions, 297% up since 2016).
