14. India’s Goods Trade Falls: Deficit Narrows to $14 Billion

  • Merchandise exports fell 10.9% to $36.91 billion while imports fell 16.3% to $50.96 billion.

25. Chandrayaan-3 ChaSTE Data Hints at Wider Moon Water Ice

  • PRL Ahmedabad scientists found that larger lunar areas than thought may hold water ice, using Chandrayaan-3 Vikram lander data.
  • ChaSTE measured surface and sub-surface temperature at Shiv Shakti Point (69.373° S, 32.319° E) with 10 platinum RTD sensors.
  • The peak recorded lunar-day temperature was 82ºC on a sun-facing slope.
  • It is the first in-situ temperature measurement at a high lunar latitude.
