1. E100 and B100: Draft Rule Change to Allow 100% Biofuels

  • India proposed amending the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989, to let vehicles run on 100% ethanol (E100) and 100% biodiesel (B100).
  • The draft replaces 'E85' with 'E85 or E100' and 'B10' with 'B100'.
  • The ethanol programme had saved $19.3 billion in forex by January 2026, and over $15 billion went to farmers in a decade.

4. DPI@2047: NITI Aayog’s Digital Roadmap for Viksit Bharat
