5. India CPI Inflation April 2026: 13-Month High of 3.5%

  • April 2026 retail inflation touched 3.5%, the highest in 13 months, against 3.4% in March.

6. Moody’s India GDP Forecast Cut to 6% for 2026 and 2027

7. Jute Crop Information System: NJB Expands Satellite Monitoring

  • The National Jute Board expanded the Jute Crop Information System (JCIS), developed with ISRO and the Jute Corporation of India.

8. West Bengal Set to Join Digital Agriculture Mission

10. PLFS Q4 FY26: Urban Unemployment Eases to 6.6%
