1. One Case One Data and Su Sahay: CJI’s Digital Court Push

CJI Surya Kant announced 'One Case One Data' and the AI chatbot 'Su Sahay' in open court.
One Case One Data links courts from taluk level to the Supreme Court and gives each case a single digital identity.
Su Sahay is an AI chatbot on the Supreme Court website for procedures, case status and services.
The e-Courts Mission Mode Project Phase III was approved with about ₹7,210 crore.

2. PM Modi at Art of Living 45th anniversary in Bengaluru

PM Narendra Modi attended The Art of Living's 45th anniversary celebrations in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

3. PM Modi Launches Telangana Infrastructure Projects

PM Modi laid the foundation for four-laning of NH-167 from Gudebellur to Mahabubnagar, costing over Rs 3,175 crore.

7. MGNREGA Repealed from 1 July 2026: VB-G RAM G Act Takes Over

From 1 July 2026, all rules, schemes and guidelines under MGNREGA, 2005 stand repealed.
The Viksit Bharat - Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin), or VB-G RAM G, Act replaces it.
Parliament passed the Act in 2025 without pre-legislative consultation, which drew criticism.
MGNREGA promised 100 days of wage work per rural household; about 6 crore households got work in FY24.

9. SEBI Green Channel for AIFs: Faster Scheme Launch Proposal

SEBI floated a Green Channel in a discussion paper to cut the AIF scheme waiting period from 30 days to 10 working days.
Accredited investor-only schemes could launch immediately on filing the PPM; angel funds could circulate memoranda right after registration.
The AIF count climbed from 732 (March 2021) to 1,849 (March 2026); commitments stand at ₹15.74 lakh crore.
Accredited investors went up 327%, from 649 (May 2025) to 2,773 (April 2026).

10. HSBC Cuts India FY27 GDP Growth Forecast to 6%

HSBC projected India's FY27 GDP growth at 6%, versus 7.4% for FY26.
The cut cites an energy shock from West Asia with crude above $100 a barrel and El Niño-linked weak rainfall.
RBI's own FY27 estimate is 6.9%, so HSBC is 90 basis points lower.

13. D’Ering Wildlife Sanctuary: Tiger Seen After 20 Years

Camera traps caught a tiger at D'Ering Memorial Wildlife Sanctuary, Arunachal Pradesh, a first in almost twenty years.
The 190 sq. km sanctuary lies in East Siang district, near Pasighat, and was established in 1978.
The name honours Daying Ering, head of the Ering Commission tied to Panchayati Raj.
About 75-80% of the area is alluvial grassland, on a riverine island ecosystem along the Siang.
