RoDTEP export scheme extended till 31 December 2026
Why in the news
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) extended the RoDTEP scheme by three months on 30 September 2026. It would otherwise have expired on the same day, and it now runs until 31 December 2026.

About RoDTEP
The scheme was introduced in 2021. It reimburses exporters for taxes, duties and levies paid while making and distributing goods that are not refunded or adjusted through any other mechanism at the national, state or local level. Reported budget provisions were Rs 18,232 crore for 2025-26 and Rs 10,000 crore for the current financial year.
