GI Tag Application Fee Cut to ₹1,000 for Artisans

At the Tribal Business Conclave, the Commerce Minister announced a sharp fee cut, to push tribal artisans towards GI registration.

- Fee: ₹5,000 down to ₹1,000.
- Organisers: Ministries of Tribal Affairs and Culture with DPIIT, at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre.
- Part of Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh (Birsa Munda‘s 150th birth anniversary).
