  • 70-100% disability: 5-year validity.
  • 40-69% disability: 3-year validity.
  • Old system: annual renewal was compulsory for all Divyangjan users.
  • Documents: a valid Disability Certificate, a Unique Disability Identity (UDID) card or other official records stating the disability percentage.
  • Vehicles covered: vehicles specially designed for persons with physical disabilities and vehicles registered under the Divyangjan ownership type.
  • Renewal: after expiry, users who remain eligible can renew, subject to the National Highways Fee Rules, 2008.

About the change
