Why in the news
Small clinics have struggled with paper-based work because big hospital software is too complex and costly. The government is therefore bringing a light, affordable, state-backed option, in demand from ABDM microsite participants and States and UTs.

About ABDM
The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission was launched by PM Narendra Modi on 27 September 2021 to build integrated, interoperable digital health infrastructure through digital highways, and is implemented by NHA.
