1. Navi Mumbai International Airport Inaugurated by PM Modi

PM Narendra Modi inaugurated Navi Mumbai International Airport on 8 October 2025; its IATA code is NMI.
Operator is Navi Mumbai International Airport Limited (NMIAL).
Phase 1 handles 20 million passengers a year with a single 3,700 m runway.
The terminal has a lotus-inspired design and the airport is at Ulwe in Raigad district.

PPC 2025-26 was launched on 2 October 2025 under the theme 'Sabki Yojana, Sabka Vikas'.
It is an annual Ministry of Panchayati Raj initiative for local planning.
GPDPs align with the 29 subjects of the Eleventh Schedule and the SDGs.

3. PM-SETU Scheme: Rs 60,000 Crore Plan to Upgrade 1,000 ITIs

PM-SETU is a centrally sponsored scheme to modernise 1,000 government ITIs, with a ₹60,000 crore outlay for 2025-2028.
200 hub ITIs, each linked with 4 spokes, follow a Government-owned, Industry-managed (GOIM) model.
The nodal ministry is the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

Utkarsh SFB issues the card, which runs on the Visa network and is offered via the PhonePe app.

Credit limits are customised to the user's profile and spending behaviour.
