  • PM Modi made a State Visit to Seychelles on 27-29 June 2026 as Guest of Honour at its Golden Jubilee National Day.

8. White-Rumped Vulture Electrocuted at Mudumalai: Key Notes

  • A captive-bred white-rumped vulture wearing a radio tag, freed at Mudumalai Tiger Reserve, died on a power line on 28 June 2026.
  • BNHS had freed 34 captive-bred birds across Pench, Melghat and Tadoba-Andhari between December 2025 and January 2026; this was one of them.
