Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Safran Aircraft Engine Services India (SAESI) maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in Hyderabad on 26 November 2025.

About MRO
MRO stands for maintenance, repair and overhaul, the servicing work that keeps aircraft and engines airworthy. The project fits with the National Civil Aviation Policy 2016, the MRO Guidelines 2021 and the 2024 GST reforms.
