About GRAP

  • An adaptive framework for the National Capital Region, with actions tied to daily AQI.
  • Started 2017, after Supreme Court directions and EPCA recommendations.
  • Run by the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) with CPCB, the Delhi Government and pollution boards of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
  • Supports National Clean Air Programme goals.

Stage III curbs

  • Construction and demolition halted, barring essential projects.

  • Exempt: healthcare, defence, metro, railways, sanitation, under strict dust and emission norms.
