3. EPFO Vishwas 2026: One-Time Settlement for PF Damages

  • EPFO's Vishwas 2026 is a one-time settlement scheme for employers facing PF damages or penalty cases.
  • It is effective from 29 June 2026, stays open six months and covers defaults before 14 June 2024.
  • Revised damage rates are 0.25%, 0.50% and 1% per month depending on the length of default.
  • Legal basis is Section 14B of the EPF and MP Act, 1952, and Section 128 of the Code on Social Security, 2020.
