UPI Upgrades: RBI Unveils Four New Initiatives at GFF 2025

At the Global Fintech Festival 2025, RBI rolled out four steps to make UPI more convenient, interoperable and widely used.
The four initiatives

Other features
- Biometric authentication: approve UPI payments without a PIN.
- Face authentication via UIDAI: easier onboarding and PIN setup using Aadhaar biometrics.
