Loans against farm produce (hypothecation)

  • Purpose: post-harvest finance and less dependence on informal credit.

Urban Co-operative Banks (UCBs)

  • PSL target is 60%, measured on ANBC (Adjusted Net Bank Credit) or CEOBSE (credit equivalent of off-balance sheet exposures).
  • Within it: 7.5% micro enterprises and 12% weaker sections.

Weaker sections: wider definition

  • SCs, STs and notified minorities; persons with disabilities.
  • Small and marginal farmers and distressed farmers.
  • Individual members of SHGs/JLGs; artisans.
  • Individual women, with the loan size cap removed.
