On October 9, 2026, the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth and Sports presented its 382nd Report, on improving and strengthening the National Testing Agency (NTA), to the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha. The committee is chaired by Mukul Wasnik, a Rajya Sabha MP.

Key facts

  • Radhakrishnan Committee: Of its 101 recommendations, 60 relate to 2025 and 2026; the panel wants pending ones implemented quickly.
