Sebi has been examining new fund launches for duplication of existing schemes’ holdings while its draft proposals await notification.
What is an NFO?
The first subscription window of a mutual fund scheme run by an Asset Management Company (AMC) at a fixed offer price, commonly ₹10, regulated by Sebi.
Features
- Open for a limited offer period; units are then allotted.
- Investors must get the SID and KIM (Scheme Information Document, Key Information Memorandum).
