Government data on the National Animal Disease Control Programme (NADCP) show that 147.16 crore foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) vaccine doses have been given, and outbreaks have dropped sharply since 2019.

Other details
Protective immunity is reported at 78.1% for FMD serotype O, 71.7% for A and 77.6% for Asia1, with no Asia1 outbreak for three years. Brucellosis vaccination targets female bovine calves aged 4-8 months with a single dose. Services include 4,019 mobile veterinary units.
