Former India cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin took oath as a minister in the Telangana government on 31 October 2025 at Raj Bhavan.

About Azharuddin
Azharuddin captained India in the 1990s and led the team at three consecutive World Cups, in 1992, 1996 and 1999. He later entered politics and was a Congress Member of Parliament from Moradabad from 2009 to 2014.
