State-wise picture (September 2026)
- Maharashtra stayed on top with Rs 29,986 crore (+15%), followed by Karnataka (Rs 13,884 crore, +16%) and Gujarat (Rs 12,222 crore, +17%).
- Assam grew 88% to Rs 2,415 crore, the sharpest among major states.
- Tamil Nadu slipped 5% to Rs 10,188 crore.
