12. PM-KMY Seven Years: Rs 3,000 Farmer Pension Scheme Explained

  • PM-KMY gives small and marginal farmers an assured Rs 3,000 monthly pension after 60; the Centre matches each contribution.
  • Farmers aged 18-40 with up to 2 hectares can join, paying Rs 55-200 a month depending on entry age.
  • On the pensioner's death the spouse gets 50% (Rs 1,500 a month); LIC manages the fund.
  • The scheme began on 12 September 2019 at Ranchi and completed seven years on 12 September 2026.

13. GOBARdhan CBG Scheme Guidelines: Offtake and Pricing

  • Notified guidelines for the ₹23,731 crore National Circular Bioenergy Scheme (GOBARdhan) promise CBG producers a buyer and a price.
  • Cabinet approved the scheme in August 2026; guidelines followed in September 2026.
  • The Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry runs it over 2026-27 to 2035-36, aiming at almost ten times today's CBG output.
  • City gas distribution companies must buy all CBG from registered plants at an administered price.

32. India-Sri Lanka Defence Ties: MoUs and L70 Gun Upgrade
