6. PM-AJAY Portal and AJAY Mobile App: Tracking SC Welfare Projects

  • MoSJE launched the PM-AJAY Portal and the AJAY Mobile App to track Scheduled Caste welfare projects.
  • PM-AJAY is a 100 per cent Centrally Sponsored umbrella scheme from FY 2021-22 merging PMAGY, SCA to SCSP and BJRCY.
  • Adarsh Gram villages need SC population above 40 per cent and total population of at least 500; each gets ₹2 lakh plus ₹1 lakh.
  • The app uploads geo-tagged, time-stamped photos before the next fund instalment is released.
