1. IT Rules amendment: I&B takedown notices to social media users

  • The proposed IT Rules amendment would let the I&B Ministry send takedown notices directly to individual social media users.

13. UNESCO GEM Report 2026: 273 Million Children Out of School

  • UNESCO's GEM Report 2026 says 273 million children and youth were out of school in 2024, about one in six.
