Delhi joined Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY and signed a second agreement, for the health infrastructure mission.

Key facts

  • Cover: ₹5 lakh per family per year for 6.5 lakh families; the Delhi government adds ₹5 lakh, doubling it.
  • ASHA and anganwadi workers and helpers are included; 46 private hospitals began empanelment; staff are being trained for online registration.
  • PM-ABHIM plans: 1,139 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, 11 integrated public health labs, 9 critical care blocks, budget ₹1,749 crore.
  • Existing Mohalla Clinics will become AAMs.
