RailOne Super App Launched for Indian Railways Passengers
Why in the news
Indian Railways introduced RailOne, a single mobile application that replaces the need to juggle several railway apps. Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw unveiled it on 2 July 2025.

- Login: single sign-on with an mPIN or biometric; existing RailConnect and UTS credentials continue to work.
- R-Wallet: unreserved tickets paid this way get a 3% discount.
- Benefit: saves phone storage and gives a smoother experience than using separate apps.

- The modernised Passenger Reservation System (PRS) is being rebuilt to be multilingual, agile and scalable.
