About the proposals
The procurements fall under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat drive for self-reliance in defence, with stress on indigenous development where possible. The ALWT was developed by DRDO’s Naval Science and Technological Laboratory and is meant for undersea warfare. LPDs support amphibious operations and disaster relief.

- Match each system to its service: NAMIS (Army), LPD and ALWT (Navy), CLRTS/DS (Air Force).
- ALWT is a DRDO product.
