ALMM Solar Framework Extended to Ingots and Wafers

MNRE widened the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) to cover solar ingots and wafers from 1 June 2028, deepening the drive for a self-reliant solar value chain.

About the ALMM framework
It is a regulatory and quality assurance tool that makes sure government-backed and regulated solar projects use only approved, verified manufacturers and models. Its aims are quality, reliability and domestic manufacturing.
