India Post Payments Bank introduced an account made for self help groups, hoping to bring rural and semi-urban women’s collectives into formal banking through the postal network.

- Free: cash deposits and withdrawals, account closure and QR card issuance; one physical statement a month at no cost.
- Maximum balance: ₹2,00,000.
- Interest: paid quarterly; 2.0% up to ₹1 lakh, 2.25% above ₹1 lakh.
