Rahul Himalian Takes Charge as IRCTC CMD

The Ministry of Railways named Rahul Himalian, until now Director (Tourism & Marketing), as the head of IRCTC from 20 July 2026, succeeding Sanjay Kumar Jain.

About IRCTC
The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation handles railway ticketing, catering, tourism services and packaged drinking water. The CMD oversees its digital services, passenger facilities, tourism activities and commercial strategy. Himalian is said to have received the President’s Gold Medal as the best all-round student.
