Gramodyam: NABARD Rural Entrepreneurship Programme Launched

NABARD used its 45th Foundation Day to start Gramodyam, an entrepreneurship development programme for the rural enterprise ecosystem.
Key facts
- Purpose: spot, train, mentor and back rural youth who want to start enterprises; widen formal finance access.
- Partners: NSDC (under MSDE) and the Institute for Industrial Development.
- Support: psychometric assessment, mentoring, handholding, bankable DPRs, RRB and lender linkage, scheme access and digital loan help.
Exam angle
- Programme type: EDP by NABARD; pilot of 4,000 entrepreneurs over 3 years.
- NSDC works under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
