Dileep Sanghani Elected to ICA Global Board for 2026-2030

Dileep Sanghani, Chairman of IFFCO (Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited), was elected an At-Large Director on the Global Board of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) for 2026-2030. The vote took place at the ICA General Assembly in Panama on 15 September 2026.

- Election: 15 At-Large Directors were chosen from 24 candidates; seven were returning directors and eight were newcomers.
- Voters: 116 representatives of 193 member organisations from 66 countries took part.
- ICA President: Dr Ariel Guarco of Argentina was re-elected unopposed for 2026-2030.

About the ICA Global Board
The 30-member board has the President, 15 At-Large Directors, four regional Vice-Presidents, eight sectoral organisation representatives, and the presidents of the Youth and Gender Equality committees.
About Dileep Sanghani
One report describes him as a trained lawyer with over 40 years in cooperatives, a former NCUI President and four-time MP. IFFCO under him is described as covering around 35,700 cooperatives and more than 50 million farmers.
