Housing loan ceilings under PSL, by city population

Loans against farm produce (hypothecation)
- Individual farmers: up to ₹90 lakh.
- Corporate farmers: up to ₹4 crore.
- Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs): up to ₹10 crore.
- Purpose: post-harvest finance and less dependence on informal credit.
Urban Co-operative Banks (UCBs)
- PSL target is 60%, measured on ANBC (Adjusted Net Bank Credit) or CEOBSE (credit equivalent of off-balance sheet exposures).
- Within it: 7.5% micro enterprises and 12% weaker sections.
Weaker sections: wider definition
- SCs, STs and notified minorities; persons with disabilities.
- Small and marginal farmers and distressed farmers.
- Individual members of SHGs/JLGs; artisans.
- Individual women, with the loan size cap removed.
