Jaishankar: India Working for Limited Russia-Ukraine Grain Shipment Deal

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on 5 October 2026 that India is engaging both Russia and Ukraine to work out a limited arrangement for safe shipping of grains and fertilisers, an issue tied to food security in the Global South.
